HICKS NATION Architects, Inc. is an architecture and planning firm located in Tallahassee, Florida.  The firm of Jerry L. Hicks Architect, Inc. was founded in 1985.  In 1990, the firm name was changed to Hicks/Nation Architects, Inc. with the addition of partner John W. Nation.

Hicks Nation is dedicated to providing professional service tailored to its clients needs.  From its office in Tallahassee, Florida, HNA has served the counties of North Florida since 1985.  Hicks Nation's philosophy of project management stresses a team approach, including involvement of the firm's principals and clients in all phases of the project from concept to occupancy.  Responsiveness to the client and contractor is our primary emphasis.

Educational and governmental facilities represent a major segment of the firm's work.  More than half of our work is generated by repeat clients.  The firm concentrates its efforts on designing projects which balance functional planning, design quality and effective cost control.  Hicks Nation is committed to the practice of architecture while providing quality service to our clients.
