  • Designed for the Florida Board of Regents, with Florida A & M Univesity and Florida State University as users, this facility is sized and furnished to provide services for the public as well as scheduled visits of school children, to experience on IMAX Theater, A space station simulation (Challenger Center) as well as a state of the art Planetarium.

    With two floors totaling approximately 30,000 s.f. & Sited on a major corner of Kleman Plaza, this facility reveals it’s functions and displays to the exterior for public interaction, discovery and experience.
  • Science being the major message of this facility, it is organized behind a traditional arcade of shop-fronts, with high-bay spaces allowing large-scale exhibits and artifacts of the space and science “world”.

    Work on this space developed into a revision of the master plan of Kleman Plaza to confirm many of the goals of the city encouraging the Plaza to be an inviting public space for all to experience.
